Getting your Student Pilots License

You must have your student pilots license before you can solo - you can begin training with a flight instructor without your student pilots license.  However, getting your student pilots license ensures you will be able to continue your training and solo at the appropriate time.

You must pass a simple physical examination with a certified Aviation Medical Examiner (A. M. E.) and the examiner will issue your student pilots license on the spot.  

your student pilots license allows you to fly solo as long as you have the proper endorsement from your flight instructor prior to the flight.
